How Does copy and paste work?

I was just thinking.. Does copy and paste work through a DLL or something?
I want my users to be able to copy from one program onto mine..
How Do i get around to doing this?

It depends on what to copy and where to paste
If you need to copy text from/to a TMemo or TEdit, this works without anything special.

The methods are CopyToClipboard and PasteFromClipboard.
