LazReport - Strange Wordwrapping behavior

In my LazReport report I have a memo database field that can have one or more lines of text in it. So I gave the report field the options Stretched and Word wrap.
This sometimes has the correct effect most of the time but sometimes it wraps while there still is enough space for two or more words (shot 2) and on other lines it does not wrap at all but continues its data well outside the margins (shot 1).

Is this a bug in LazReport or am I doing something wrong?
