Connect Problem Zeos on Oracle 10 XE

Hello
i am using 2 Windows Machines (Server with Oracle 10 Express and Client with Lazarus) both with Windows 2000 Pro.
If i try to connect with Lazarus on the Client it works with the Standard "OraclConnection" from Lazarus.
If i try to connect with Zeos ZConnection on the Server (lokal) it works fine.
But
If i try to connect with Zeos ZConnection on the Client i get allway a Error.
I use the following Details:
HostName 191.9.201.237  (IP of the Server)
Database XE
Port 1521
Protokoll Oracle-9i or Oracle
Passwort _
User wtans
Version 6.6.6-stable

If i try to change the State "Connected" to true i get the Error
"SQL Error: ORA-12154: TNS: Angegebener Connect Identifier konnte nicht aufgelöst werden"

On sqlplus i can connect with "connect wtrans/_@191.9.201.237:1521/XE" without any problem.

Thanks for any idea where i make the mistake.

It has been a long time ago that I used Oracle, but the syncax you cave for sqlplus looks like an instant connect string (or how is it called), while the error looks like a TNSNames is used.

Yes this is correct, in sqlplus i use the "Easy connect" with came with Oracle 9i (if i remeber correct)
Doest this mean, that Zeos commponent are not able to connect without tnsnames.ora?
In this case it would mean, that i would have to install sqlnet on the client?
Ok i will try it, but if someone has another idea i would be very interested.

catalog

because i use firebird and i need to put the(complete database address ) same information in catalog and database.

As e result of your question i tryed to connect on the client with (the other way round for Database und Hostname)
Database 191.9.201.237  (Ip of the Server)
Hostname XE (SID of the DB)
and IT WORKS!!!

Even more curios, if i connect with these Parameters on the machine where the DB is installed (Server) then it works to.
And if i try it on the Server with
Database XE (SID of the DB)
Hostname 191.9.201.237  (Ip of the Server)
it WORKS TOO.

But if i use
Database XE (SID of the DB)
Hostname 191.9.201.237  (Ip of the Server)
on a client then it does NOT WORK.

I left all the time the Catalog Property blank.
