building Lazarus source code

I've d-loaded the source code and spotted the location of a bug.
How do I compile the Lazarus Source code?
It says:
 
type 'make' but I did not found make.
after that I found a 'make' in the FPC dir, and tried it. It said:
'you need GNU utils package to use this makefile.'
(I'm working win32)

This must be simple but I'm tired right now;;

in win32 you need to have the pp/bin/win32-x86(or how it was/ in path
