Problems installing packages

I installed RichMemo and Lazarus says me that the package is installed, but the component does not appear on the components page.

Can you add in uses "RichMemo" and Create TRichMemo ?

No. But when I open Packages > Open Installed Packages, richmemopackage is there.

it seems that there is a information about installed richmemo in your settings dir (in Win XP C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\lazarus\  packagefiles.xml ) but package isn't installed. You can delete your packages settings (packagefiles.xml) and try to install again all your third party packages.
