lnet, synapse or Indy

Hello
I try Indy, it looks great (windows enviroment, in linux does not work good), Lnet and synapse i didnt try it.

Wich one i can use to work fine in Windows linux and Leopard?, i need to send mail, and make a little chat.

Not sure about Leopard, but LNet and Synapse work great on Windows and Linux. There are examples for sending emails and do some chatting in LNet (AFAIR).

What part of Indy did not work in Linux for you?
Linux Mint - Lazarus 4.6/FPC 3.2.2,
Windows - Lazarus 4.6/FPC 3.2.2

Indy worked fine for me on windows and Linux. Finding a good version is hard atm though.

What version are you using? I'm using version 10.2.0.3 & it work OK for now though I've not tested it extensively (it has a ton of components)!  :D

i use indy 10.2.3

in linux when i use idipwath to get the ipaddress , it shows me an error. In windows goes fine

I never could get Inet to work with lazarus due to naming conflicts. Go with Synapses.
