Learning Lazarus?

Ive just started off programming.

Are there any sites and ebooks which can help me with my learning? I know a pascal. Ive used Turbopascal before.

There are many similarities between Delphi & Lazarus but because Delphi is targeted at Windows (for now at least); a lot of Delphi code is not cross-platform. Some of these things you'll discover for yourself as you go along.

I would advice that you read Marco Cantu's free Essential Delphi book located at the first link above to start your adventure.
