8) Epilog:

The theory of "Tsapi" was right. With help of MR. Alexandre Leclerc from Canada I made the soft links to liblglib's and linkage editing functions OK. Lazarus is running OK.

A heads up; if you have Mandrake 10.1, do NOT update any of your packages. Due to an update, lazarus gets uninstalled along with pixbuf-dev. Back to square 1.
