Glass Effect

Hello,

I wondered if it was possible to make transparent zone in a Form using Aero (Windows Vista & 7). Is it possible in Freepascal ? Have you already tryed ?
It would be nice to make our application more good-looking  :) .

Yes, it is possible. Api is in dwmapi.pp unit. There is "TAeroGlass von Daniel Mitte (C) 2006" component  for delphi that can be easily ported into Lasarus, also TGlassFrame from Delphi can be used the source of implementaion idea.

All right, so it's not yet in Lazarus but it doesn't seems hard to implement, thanks I'll have a look.
