cross platform movieplayer LCL

I'm quite new to Lazarus so I don't now if it is possible to design a movieplayer LCL that works on Linux, MacOS, Win etc without an external player? but if it's possible I'd very pleased.

Of course it is possible... Someone has to do it though...  8)

I doubt a component like that will get to LCL soon, even if someone creates it.

with some bounty offered i could make Win/OSX component
