New chat written in fpc, for Linux and Win32

I'm pleasure to annunce that now, from my web site, you can download a chat written in fpc.
This chat works on Linux and Win32.
The purpose for which I wrote this chat is to create a instant messaging software for local network, easy to use and easy to install for those who not want to use services like skype or msn in your corporate network.
I hope that you will use this chat and you will send me informations on how to expand this software.

1. I would consider reworking interface alittle bit and applications behaviour (both server and client). For instance there should be auto socket closing on application close.
2. Maybe writing server as daemon/service would be better idea. At this point it's hard to say if it's better idea or not. LAN can have 5 users and can have also 5000 users.
3. Maybe some nick reservation or so. It's ok as it is in network with 5 users although it wouldn't be enough in larger networks.
4. No idea if that is implemented but do you have some network discovery feature? So for instance user doesn't have to provide ip of the server and client can discover it by itself.

Perhaps this could be accomplished by adding support for mDNS e.g. Avahi or Bonjour?
