Trndi – a CGM (blood glucose) monitor for your desktop, written in FPC/LazarusHi all,
I'd like to share
Trndi, a free and open source desktop app that shows
readings from continuous glucose monitors — for diabetics who want their
current value, trend arrow and graph visible at a glance on the desktop,
or on a dedicated display.
Backends: Nightscout, Dexcom Share, FreeStyle Libre (LibreLinkUp),
Tandem Source, Medtronic CareLink and xDrip (over the local network).
Highlights- Single small native binary — no runtime, no installation needed
- Windows, macOS, Linux (x86_64 + ARM/Raspberry Pi), FreeBSD and even Haiku
- Kiosk mode (--kiosk) for an always-on wall/bedside display, touch screens supported
- Color-coded ranges, trend graph, dark/light mode, multi-user support
- JavaScript extensions via QuickJS (official ones for IFTTT and Discord)
- OS integration: Windows taskbar, macOS dock, Linux notifications; Qt6 on Linux, native widgetsets elsewhere
- Translated into 6 languages
Built with Free Pascal 3.2.2 and Lazarus (LCL), GPLv3. Prebuilt binaries for
all platforms are on GitHub, and contributions are welcome — the repo has
guides for adding new CGM backends and extensions.

decisions based on it; always verify with your official CGM system.Trndi is currently the only app that supports this many backends
