Strange output with Currency edit

I am using some controls from Brazil.
(These are the only Currency Edit controls that I can find)
One is rxCtrls.
These are in addition to the rx controls that ship with lazarus.
The other (right hand side of the screen) are from Ajlaz-ctrls.

They both have the Edit and display values shown.
These controls are fine with an XP version of Lazarus.

Any ideas on what might be causing this.
I have changed the display format but nothing works.
