Hi,
I saw that 4.8 had been released for MacOS. I am hesitating to download it as 4.6 with FPC 3.2.4RC1 was at first not 4.6, but 4.4 and it was not capable to compile any projects without having the XCode 15 command line tools installed.
Installing lower level XCode command line tools was difficult if at the same time you were working on current XCode version to develop iOS apps.
Currently I am running MacPort's Lazarus package, which 4.4 version and capable to work with the latest XCode install as well.
What I do not understand is, why the guy, who packed Lazarus and Free Pascal for MacPorts could manage to get his Lazarus version able to compile apps on MacOS, while the "official" developer team is still releasing versions which are not working off box.
The solution does not seem to be too difficult as Code Typhon version of Lazarus was working without any issue as well.
Native compilation without any hacking needed, should be the highest priority for the community.
