I have been using v 3.2 for some time and have created new component classes which correct issues or modify the behavior of delivered components.  There has been a major? upgrade  (4.x) that I have been reluctant to install since there might be overlap or incompatibilities with my existing libraries.  I'd like to review the newest source files (ie grids.pas) to assess the effort.  Are these files available without installation?

The code button has a download as zip. You can before that select a tag for the version you want (the link is the current development version).

If you wan to test newer releases, then it depends what OS you are on. Window installers have an option to make a 2ndary install, that goes into its own folder, and allows you to specify a separate config dir too.
