SMNetGradient Update 2.02 in last post, ** Fix Bug **

I updated the component http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/SMNetGradient SMNetGradient, with the following added:
FBevelInner
FBevelOuter
Caption Aliniament : Left, Right, Center
Caption Layout: Top, Center, Botton
DataBase: DataSourceLink, DataField

Did you give the package a new version Number?

Yes I proceeded to give a version number later.

   
I can not assign the default name to FCaption same as the name of the component.


At the time of writing I have made many other changes are:

Aliniament Caption: Left, Right, Center
Caption Layout: Top, Center, Botton
DataBase: DataSourceLink, DataField

Nice component.
A useful addition to the component palette.

A couple of remarks:
- the CaptionAlignment property doesn't do anything; the caption is always left-aligned
  ^{last version doesn't have this bug}
- the sample project has a dependancy on a non-standard package
- the number of AV's I get has increased significantly now this component is installed.
  But to be honest, I'm using untested software (Vista with Lazarus 0.9.27 beta 21258  )

The dependency is FxPackLib. I don't have it.

AV is Access Violations: when closing an application I sometimes get an AV.
Now, with this component installed, I get a lot more AV's.
I'm using lazarus 0.9.27 21258. Maybe it's resolved in 0.9.29 (and later).

I had some fun with the component: something you can add to your demo, a double gradient (see attachment).

Dependence on the draft is FxPackLib example, you can delete.
You might check the version installed?

Yep, used the latest version.

One problem still exists: more AV's.
But this could be Lazarus/gdb related; not sure and not a biggie at the moment.

I did the test on Windows, Linux (Ubuntu 9.4), Mac OSX (Leopard 10.5.

Everything works fine
