Main menu projects
« on: September 26, 2025, 08:22:07 pm »
What about moving projects to the first position in the main menu. Imho it is more intuitive position.
Thank you to your attention to this matter.

Hi
It should then be made a choice, to do so, because I'm quite happy with it where it is now...

I would like possibility to pin important projects, so they always stay on top.

You can install the "Favorites" package, which allows to add favorite projects to the drop-down menu of the "Open" button on the IDE coolbar (see attachment).

I am using this for a while now and it's great.
Is it possible to open favorite projects with keyboard?

Is it possible to open favorite projects with keyboard?

Unfortunately, the toolbars aren't accessible from the keyboard at all (this is the main reason I personally dislike them).

I have plans to add a list of favorite projects to the "Menu > Project > Favorites" submenu (as well as files and packages). This will make them accessible from the keyboard, and it will also be useful for those who don't have the IDE Coolbar enabled.

But these are plans for the future, I don't know when I'll be able to get around to it. Maybe next year... ))
