🚀 The first pre‑release of SedaiBasic has finally arrived! An interpreter, written in Free Pascal, that brings back the legendary Commodore BASIC v7 (Tiny BASIC subset, right now), but with surprising performance: in certain calculations SedaiBasic is even faster than Python, running some benchmarks at twice the speed, and in others reaching up to eight times faster.
The most incredible part? This language was entirely developed with the help of Artificial Intelligence. I barely looked at the code myself: my role was to design, orchestrate, and guide the AI step by step to the final result.
SedaiBasic is already capable of running real programs and proves how AI can become a true creative and technical partner in building complex software. And this is just the beginning — the best is yet to come! ✨
