Blog area?
« on: November 07, 2025, 03:57:17 pm »
Any chance of a sub forum where we can post our ideas, pseudo code, etc, just to get feedback? I think the constant barrage of "how do I do this?" threads buries everything else.
I love programming.

Some things I've done using PTCgraph:

I think the entire forum is dedicated to this. And you can post your ideas in the relevant boards (e.g. IDE, LCL, Debugger, Databases).

If you have a lot of code or an entire project, you can upload it on GitLab/GitHub and ask for feedback on the "Third party" board.

Well, "How do I do that" is "just to get feedback", isn't it?

Then it depends what kind of feedback you are looking for. Like, is the code quality good, can I improve? Well that is technically "How do I do that (better)?".

Or, are you looking for "What features could I add to my tool?"? That can already be ask. It gets fewer answers, but IMHO not because there it isn't seen. It's just most people have there tools, you only appeal to the few how are looking to change what tool they use. (Even some questions on improving the IDE itself got relatively low amount of answers, and many of those here are using the IDE)

Or just, "I did this tool, have a look". Depending on what it is, the specific sub-board, or 3rd party announcement (If you have many projects then maybe group the announcements into one thread, not fair to others if you lots of your announcement threads on top of the board)

Or, well "What kind of feedback"?
