TFMX Player Library
« on: October 02, 2025, 06:13:51 pm »
Hi

Another quick port of this nice library to play TFMX modules with lazarus pascal;
The Dll was Compiled with VS 2022 for windosw X64 system based from arnaud neny sources and a bit hippoplayer to décode & get samples float values. This version is better than webversion.

What's that ? Exotica wiki says about TFMX :
© 1988/89 Chris Hülsbeck & Peter Thierolf.

The Final Musicsystem eXtended". An elaborate music format devised and created by Chris Hülsbeck, with Peter Thierolf writing the editor. Unlike most early formats, TFMX logically separates the sequencer from the synthesizer, each independently running patterns resp. macros. The 7 voice replayer was created by Jochen Hippel.

Strange format consist of 2 files mdat.music and smpl.music contains module datas and
samples datas.
If you want load modules don't forget to load the 2 files together.

Modules can found here ; https://ftp.modland.com/pub/modules/TFMX/

The example contains 2 modules ; turrican2 and apidya level 1, spinner was added to listen
avaible subsongs. Have Fun with head set , Amiga rulez :)

By the way how about my English ? :)

Regards  GTR

You are doing great work, but it would be a bit better if this was all pascal, no dlls. Perhaps Chat GPT could translate to Pascal?
