No always be case but (recent) fpcmkcfg now make gcc path (depend on what use template, default template make gcc path).
Yes, I see my script (from before 2016) used to use samplecfg (not fpcmkcfg).

I switched to fpcmkcfg much later and I could have removed that line from my script.
