Have sessionid and have no sessionid random URL (is wrong). Thta why example LV work because strip sessionid (when make manual remove sessionid then work). reload, refresh browser configuration, clear cache etc all no work. Is not problem browser but problem server.

Been trying to view posts etc for days, getting crazy Cookie message, when cookies are enabled. finally managed to login

I do not see how this is supposed to stop AI scrappes or bot crawlers, bad bot crawlers have been handling cookies for years to give them access to sites.
if a simple bot crawlers can do it, pretty sure AI scrapers can too.

It appears to be frustrating us humans...

I have not come across this with others site.... Yet.....

Conspiracy theory #1
Are we the targets now, and to find things out about pascal/lazarus we now have to use AI for answers... as the main resource is unavailable to us biological machines.

Please fix

Do you really think it's a Cooky problem and not just some redirect to a page that looks that way? ;)

Anyways, I read some docs today about the recent release of D13 and I think I saw something in there about AI search engines built into the IDE. Just think, all those over paid licensed users will get their help from us here, I'll make sure I put in some decoys! :D

when in a page, the link for ie the forum points to
Code: [Select]
https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?action=forumeven inspecting html confims the same
but when you click it directs to page saying enable cookies
https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/cookies.html#new

it like rubbing your belly, tapping your head, saying red lorry, yellow lorry ten times, throwing 2 dice, if you get a double six your allowed in.

this is new and on multiple machines with various browsers all doing the same, even after emptying caches, and running in incognito mode.

Its an April 1st joke gone bad....

Hopefully it will be fixed soon...

I wonder if visits to the forum have been down?

The hack that works for me (suggested earlier here) is 1) open Firefox tab with link to Lazus forum; 2) open another tab with link to the forum.  Everything works in the second tab.  Suspect there is a better way, but I don't know enough about the web stuff so just hobble along with that.

During visiting the site users should be asked if they allow cookies or not for that site.
Now it requires that cookies are allowed, so we must define all cookies allowed.

Being located in the U.S. I attempted your method saying: "red semi, yellow semi ten times." That didn't work either :D

I haven't had any problems with cookies at all.
Sometimes forum is slow or there are timeouts.
I use Firefox on Windows 11.

I have this problem on Edge, hack with open a thread by copying the url and removing the "?..." and pasting that into the address bar fixes the problem....

Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]
  1. https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?board=21.0

changed to

Code: Pascal  [Select][+][-]

I'm having problems. I was even reading page 1 of this thread and couldn't then go to page 2 without seeing the Cookies screen.

For me it seems to be related to the PHPSESSID item on the URL. PHPSESSIDs require cookies to be stored on the user's PC so something is going wrong there. The solution is to delete the text ?PHPSESSID= to the end of the line. Then it works fine.

Has the site always used PHPSESSIDs to track the user?
Windows 10/11 Home 64-bit (and Linux because I have to)
Lazarus 2.0.12 / FPC 3.2.0 (because libQt5pas 1.2.6)
Linux Mint 20 (because GLIBC_2.31)

I cannot access the forum from Chrome on Windows 10.
It says cookies must be enabled, but I have cookies enabled.
No other web site has this problem with Chrome.

As said above, when this message appears, open the forum in a second tab another tab. That works for me.
