Luckily, the forum is almost always available for me, except in rare cases.

My entire Lazarus development OS is in a virtual machine. When I'm finished working with it, I don't shut it down, but simply save its state to disk. It's like hibernation for a real machine. This way, my browser stays open for months, and I never log out.

Although sometimes I close and restart the browser, and the forum/wiki still works. Basically, it's probably because my cookies are never cleared.

But in incognito mode, I can reproduce the same login issue.

As said above, when this message appears, open the forum in a second tab another tab. That works for me.

This seems to help a lot of people. Maybe it's time to put these instructions on the "cookie page"?

# Lazarus Clipboard URL Extractor

This project is a **Lazarus / Free Pascal** application that monitors the system clipboard, extracts links (URLs) from copied text or HTML, cleans them from unwanted session/query parameters, and automatically opens the latest copied link in your default web browser.

@LV, it seems like it's time to write a browser extension for Lazarus users ))

I've been using this utility exclusively to access the Lazarus forum for a while now.
It's simple. I navigate through the forum's topics and pages:
a) by selecting a link and copying it;
or
b) by right-clicking and copying the link address.
The utility opens all the links without a problem.
(It works for me, but I don't know about others. Has anyone tested it?)  ;)

P.S. For Windows

I meant that URL correction (automatic redirection) would be more effectively implemented as a browser extension (JavaScript). This would eliminate the need to use the clipboard.

But, of course, this is a half-joking suggestion (a temporary workaround), as it doesn't fix the underlying problem. I hope the forum's issue will be resolved.

I've also been having trouble accessing the forum for over a week. At first I thought there was a forum server failure or that some additional (mysterious) ways of accessing the forum had been introduced. I only managed to view the content of this thread today. As others have mentioned, removing everything after the "?" from the address usually allows the next page to load (although it sometimes loads with a significant delay) or to log in.

I still experience this problem most of the time. I tried to disable anything in my Firefox settings. Adblock, privacy settings, anti-tracking. Everything. But it still happens. Not sure about other browsers, but since some version Firefox may block 3rd party cookies due to security reasons to prevent tracking. I'm not sure, if it can be disabled.
Is it healthy for project not to have regular stable releases?
Just for fun: Code::Blocks, GCC 13 and DOS - is it possible?
