email notifications

I don’t get notifications when people message me anymore.
Have email notifications been discontinued?
I have the box for notify by email when messaged checked in the settings. I remember previously it was slow to notify. Now it has stopped working.

Notifications are still sent. However, I can't find your email in the logs

I didn’t get any email notification last time someone messaged me I had to visit forum to see it.
