Cheating in image editing
« on: September 03, 2025, 03:25:35 pm »
Dzandaa had posted a card game and was kind enough to share the deck image used for his card deck. So I downloaded it and created images from it that I can use in my games.

I also wanted to have a black and white deck of cards just for variety but couldn't find one that had all the sprites in one manageable jpg and close to the size I needed. I copied my palette editor project and made a special purpose editor. The editor loads Dzandaa's deck image and then using my customized editor I simply changed the individual palette entries to shades of gray. In the short video below I show the original jpg file and palette and then load the black and white palette I created.
