Display big data sets

Firebird:
I would like to use TAChart to display time series with several 10^5 data points. Is this possible and how can I do that? Are certain hardware requirements to be met?

In the attachment you find a demo plotting a line series with 1 million data points. Zooming or resizing of the chart are reasonably fast.

Read https://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/TAChart_documentation#Fast_lines for some aspects to be considered for achieving fast drawing.
