Hi,

This is a really cool paint app, big thanks to the developers.

I noticed that when I open dialogs like "Intensity" from the Colors menu, the rest of the LazPaint UI fades and becomes darker.

Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to see the preview effect.

Does anyone know if this fading / darkening effect can be disabled?

System: OpenSuse Tumbleweed / KDE - LazPaint 7.3 64 Bit - lazpaint7.3_linux64_no_install.tar.gz

KDE Desktop Effects: Dim Inactive is "Off"

Screenshots attached in case they can be helpful. Thanks for any tips.

Sorry I can't help you on that but I am interested in this app and maybe
adding a couple of simple extra features to it if possible? 8-)

Is there not a dedicated area of the forum for this great little program? :-[

I have it working great on my Linux PC and just got it going on my M3 Mac now to
Its great for the quick tasks I don't need gimp for, it opens quick and the text tool is
pretty decent, definitely prefer the text to gimps text tool  :D  O:-)

Hello @Flight714,

I am glad you like the app.  :)

The fading UI effect might come from another parameter, something like "dim parent of modal dialogs" instead of "dim inactive". Do you have such option in desktop effects?

Warm regards

Hello @FixingAhole,

Thanks for popping by.

When you mention adding a couple of simple features, would you consider joining the development team to implement this features? There are a lot of features that have been suggested, you can see them on issue page on GitHub.
