Hi,

  recently I had to use ( in a dotnet core commercial project ) the Apache Ignite Distributed Database and I liked it a lot.

  Does anyone knows, if there is a Free Pascal component / client library already out there ?

  ( searched but I didn't find anything ... )

As with anything odbc, your mileage my vary, though. (on windows and linux only)

Note the remarks on that website, though.
More specific the threading support.

Depending on your platform, I would have it a go.

objects are fine constructs. You can even initialize them with constructors.
