new private messages fly away
« on: July 12, 2025, 05:05:45 pm »
I don't find a related Forum Channel for:

- when I message a new Post in the private Message Section ...
- the message will send, but I can not see a Menu where I can see the sent messages from me
- I can reply to any incoming message, but I don't can review it ...
- a green message will inform me that the private message was sent
- but then this message fly away from my section
- I can not click me through the navigation to find it

There is a checkbox when you send the message
Code: Text  [Select][+][-]
  1.  Save a copy in my outbox

On your message overview, top left corner, the word "messages" => drops down on mouse over: "Sent Items"

What he is saying is that the "sent items" box is empty after having sent a message.
I observed the same recently, there is no control over sent items and I can't be sure whether my message was sent or not.

When you sent your next PM, look for the checkbox
" Save a copy in my outbox"

This must be checked when you sent the message.

That is a bit weird when comparing to common standards e.g. in mail servers but ok, understood.

You can also go to your profile settings, then to "Personal messaging" and there you can turn on: 'Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default.'.
