That is not true. The models and engines I mentioned do FreePascal in detail.
Often wrong... but helpful for pointers. Deepseek even gives you extreme details about its reasoning.. (that is why I like it and can correct it) and tries to use the compiler logic itself.

But that models/services are not specialized on Pascal only. Imagine how many times the results (that already satisfy you)  could be improved  by a LLM trained only on Pascal, not distracted/hallucinated from the history of Napoleon or the syntax of Javascript.

The way Deepseek works is that it chooses a submodel when it knows it.
It tries to reason from the compiler point of view.
If Europe sells their USA bonds the USD will collapse. Europe can affort that given average state debts. The USA can't affort that. Just an advice...

I admit, I sometimes use AI to help me in unfamiliar territory, like a new library. But all the AIs I've tested—ChatGPT, Gork, and Gemini—all have serious deficiencies in Pascal. And I thought the AI learned from its mistakes and, once corrected, wouldn't make them again. Unfortunately, all of them, once the session was closed and a new session started, forgot the corrections and made the same mistakes again.
I use Lazarus 2.2.0 32/64 and FPC 3.2.2 32/64 on Debian 11 64 bit, Windows 10, Windows 7 32/64, Windows XP 32,  FreeBSD 64.
Widgetset: fpGUI, MSEgui, Win32, GTK2, Qt.

If someone was to ask other people to write programs for for free , he would be considered lazy...

that's often what essentially happens in these forums.

People come here asking for help, that help often translates into code and the contributors rarely presume the individual asking is lazy.

IMO, you're jumping to premature, ill-founded, conclusions.

I can understand Joanna...
She will take efforts for the Community so, that she holds the IRC Channels #FPC and #PASCAL alive.
But she is stressed with.
Because many noobs came into the Channels, ask (or they do so) a Question, to missleading Pascal and prise the C/C++ as all well done thing.
I stay in this Channels, too.
But I can not let support because I work on my Projects.
I have a respect on those peoples there that let support without fees.

But this is the mental mind of comerce - getting all, but for free...
If they have what they want, you never see it again.

So, you can not train (like Joanna was able/willing for) Peoples programming - because you don't see it in the Face from Eye to Eye.
You can not phone them to remember on a shedulle Task Session.

I tried this years ago...
But I fail...

So, I had a Job where 8 Persons sit before 8 Computers, and I in the background by speaking/talking whats next.
This was a lovely Time.
But the Peoples don't Trust the other - they disthinking each together.
So, all Plans fly away.

I don't understand why it is a so highly Hype to order Things in Online Shops.
Online Shops can help to make a buy decision - but I would not lay my Hand into the Fire when I order and buy at an Online Shop.
Especcally Amazon and Co.

This Online Companies ruine the tiny Shop where you can Phone an Talk on Problems - so where you can ask the Shop Owner or qualified Personal.

This is what I missing...

And not a Computer Server Application that let overswap the Hard Disk stores in the haven - with no end.
I like to read a Book with original cotton Paper in printed Form.
So, you can mark the Sides with a Note Pad Paper on the border of the Book.
This is, what I missing, too ...

But what is with many many Trees that must be died to make a Book...
A Book with Informations that obsoluted when you buy it ...
The Information Technologies go forward, and daylie Books and Informations comes onto Market Place.
Some are good, some are not so good.

But I willing say: what is, when no Tree is alive because the Human species has cut all woods ...

Yes, Questions, that nobody would love ... only; more money, more power, more friends, more girls, ...

That is no the same at all. Nobody is forced to write an entire program for anyone here, in fact threads are sometimes ignored until I post on them. Chat gpt Seems like something that people make demands of.

Thanks for the kind words paule. That’s more gratitude than I will ever get here where my hundreds of hours of volunteer work is unappreciated.

Also I’d like to add that one of the places paule mentioned has an Ai Chatbot named Kruk. If anyone cares to try it out it seems fairly smart.

So wait, you haven't tried ChatGPt, and aren't fond of the use of that AI by coders, but then you recommend another AI called Kruk.

Hmmm.
 :o

Why don't we all get back to coding and leave this debate for other important folks to discuss, like the flat earthers . :D

I talked with kruk once but it certainly didn’t fulfill my need for human companionship. For people who prefer interacting with Machines though, it’s ok.

Tbman I agree with your sentiment. As the saying goes, “use it or lose it” programming skills will decrease the more ai is used for sure.
