[SOLVED] IBX, unable to install prev Version

Hi guys,

Installed Lazarus 4 windows 32 and IBX 2.7.2 from OPM.

After sucessfull installed, want to go back to IBX ver 2.4.0, so unintall IBX, IBControl and FBInt via OPM, then install IBX 2.4.0 via lpk file.

Installation IBX to prev ver OK.

Drop TDatabase, TTransaction, and TQuery on a form OK.

Database connection tested OK, but when right TQuery and choose Edit SQL, an error raised, see attachment.

Is there missing steps here?

You should probably be aware that IBX 2.4.0 might not be compatible with Firebird 5.
As far as I recall, it's compatible with Firebird 4, not 5.

So... do you get the same error when connecting to Firebird 4 with a Firebird 4 database?

I was installed this ibx on virtual machine with firebird 3.
