Doesn't work Fred,

There has also been a change of release manager.
Simply use trunk as rolling release.

Yes, of course, I can use trunk as a rolling release, even my patched FreePascal_OOTB. But I'm talking about open source application developers who use FPC and can't publish their applications for distributions that require a FPC release to be able to compile their code and produce a working app.

I use Lazarus 2.2.0 32/64 and FPC 3.2.2 32/64 on Debian 11 64 bit, Windows 10, Windows 7 32/64, Windows XP 32,  FreeBSD 64.
Widgetset: fpGUI, MSEgui, Win32, GTK2, Qt.

I have long had the idea of making a rolling release of Lazarus[main]+FPC[main]+separate external debug symbols

I imagine it working like this: periodically cloning Lazarus and FPC and creating a release using CI gilab/github

Then people can be given a link to these releases
I may seem rude - please don't take it personally
