Hello,
I installed lazarus-darwin-x86_64 4.0.
Everything seems to work.
I'm having a particular problem: when I decide to install a package, the package compiles, and the IDE seems to close. A message appears:

Can’t find the Lazarus executable /
Applications/lazarus/lazarus.app/
Contents/Resources/startlazarus.app/
Contents/MacOS/lazarus
I can't go any further. The Abort button prevents me from continuing.
How can I resolve this error ? Regards. Selzig.

Has anyone managed to place a lpk package or package from Online Package Manager ? For me it's impossible !

it should be a bug in the binary version of Lazarus 4.0 for macOS.

the 4.2 for macOS should have fixed this bug.

please try it.

Lazarus 4.0 works fine for me on Monterey but I always build it from source.
