LazUpdateManager – Lazarus component to check and download executable updates

Hi everyone,

I'd like to share a Lazarus non-visual component I've developed, called LazUpdateManager.
Its main goal is to check for updates of your executable, download the new version, and provide a simple confirmation UI and download progress. contributions are very welcome.

I guess that it installs itself in the Lazarus IDE and it adds some menu items. Am I right?

Yes, that's right. Just open the LazAutoUpdate.lpk file and compile and then install. Add the component and fill in the properties.
