In Community projects, we help other people to solver their programming problems (like yours), if they respect the project and the other Community persons.
If you can read and understand what you read, you will see that
"Great team, the product is REALLY good, the idea of cross-compiling behind it imho is genial." at the beginning of my post is not exactly showing lack of respect.

In Community projects, when we make comments for something so big like Lazarus IDE, we write our full name not "epergola".

"when we make comments for something so big like Lazarus IDE"= crime of lèse-majesté?? As to a full name, do you want the address and phone number too, to send the royal guard to imprison this unruly subject? Sounds threatening.

What's your full name? :-)
Your analogy  of a sidecar I think is not representative of the Laz/FP relation. What about a TV (or stereo)  remote control?
With Lazarus I CONTROL all that is done, not just attach pictures
to what FPC does.  Imho, I should not need to use any command line (especially b/c in the IDE there are features for recompiling
even the LCL). The fact is that having recompiled as suggested by others, in the end a simple 2-forms apps (form1 with a button calling (showmodal) form2) when run works 5 times, then ... SIGSEV.
There is nothing, no bytes, integer, records packed or unpacked, nothing but 2 forms with one button each.

"That would help placing it in a class with Delphi rather than with KDevelop". Exactly! And I said, I personally wouldn't mind to pay for it.

Thanks.I will try your suggestions. Thanks to all that have contributed. (nice full name)
BTW, it is 3 full weeks (day and partail nights) that I am stuck, so... i am  not a quitter!

Thanks to a suggestion by Martin_ (another post) I installed FPC 2.2.4, rebuilt and  bingo! Now I clicked 62 times on form1, it called 62 times form 2 without a glitch!  (Hope Lazarus does not have ergonomics concerns say, if one clicks more than 71 times the same button the app will stop b/c it is harmful to the user's fingers)
Np make fpcmake commandline of any kind: ALL done with Lazarus. Viva Lazarus.
I am pondering whether to go to bed early tonight, to make up for lost sleep, or go out to celebrate!

with pleasure.
First, I refer you to this post that explains what I did in details
 How to upgrade Lazarus 0.9.26 + FPC2.2.2 to 0.9.26.3 +FPC 2.2.4 for newbies
The original post was
Find Error replacement for Lazarus?(Program stopped at 0x1db68)
anyway look for post from epergola. I do not have too many.

skalogr
you are right 50%. :-)
When i try something in Lazarus and instead of getting what i expect I get "run fpcmake first" that  is
1. Not working as expected.
2. Quintessential duality because Lazarus refers me to FPC.
duality = 2-relation: if Lazarus (#1 in my election) does not
do what it appears it should be doing, it says 'sorry not my fault
is the other guy's proiblem (#2, FPC).
Anyway, I think the problem, the REAL one, is that you have many experts on the Forums of FPC, very few (if any???) on Lazarus.
Lazarus ROCKS!!! see my SOLVED post.  But few of the  senior members and hero members are up-to-date with the features of Lazarus. NO offence for anybody. But that seemed to me the case in my search. I found how GREAT Lazarus is on my own, despite the suggestions FPC-minded of make, un-make, re-make, fpcmake etc.
Lazarus can do GREAT things without MAKE-ing anythig, if you know what I mean...
Long live Lazarus resurrected

And now? Do you think this post is helpful?
The member status is given by the forum system. After around 500 posts you get the hero status. That doesn't mean that I for one have any experience with WinCE for ex.

The best (and probably only) thing you can do: Become an expert in the Lazarus WinCE interface and take this job of answering questions.
