Colour me impressed: HeidiSQL being ported to Lazarus

Hey Y'All,

Just to let you all know that HeidiSQL is now being ported to Lazarus since Feb 2025.

The first Alpha release for Linux has just been dropped: https://github.com/HeidiSQL/HeidiSQL/releases/tag/12.10.1.133

Many thanks to the author, Ansgar, for the effort. Especially because it's been a recurring ask, that he never quite answered decisively. But now he's doing his best to get it out.
Funny how it goes.. Linux get's above 1% share of the market... I dunno, maybe I'm just too much biased for Linux

Linux has over 70% of the server market. Just in case you missed a couple of decades. The remarkable thing is that Microsoft claims 33% which is incompatible....

Yeah, sorry, mea culpa !! Should've mentioned that I was talking about non server stuff, cuz yeah, Linux is the King there.
