upvote a reply
« on: April 27, 2025, 01:05:35 pm »
Hello everybody,

I am a newbie to this forum (and Pascal and programming in general for what matters) and pardon me if I post this in the wrong section or it had been already answered (I searched but didnt find it).

My question is about upvoting replies in this forum that help me in my understanding. Is there an upvote option for replies in this forum?

Thanks in advance!

Hello aja_ttara,
Welcome to the forum.

As far as I know, there is no upvote feature in this forum.

If you're new in Lazarus programming, after installing Lazarus you can download and try some short demos here:
https://wiki.freepascal.org/Portal:HowTo_Demos

Also you maybe haven't known, the default Lazarus installation comes with some demos too:
Lazarus main menu > Tools > Example Projects

There isn't but, it is somewhat common to see part of a reply quoted, followed by "+1" such as shown below:

Basically, that's the "upvote feature" here.

(FPC v3.0.4 and Lazarus 1.8.2) or (FPC v3.2.2 and Lazarus v4.0rc3) on Windows 7 SP1 64bit.
