Game looks good.  Fond memories of playing asteroids and this looks spot on (with the obvious change in ship).  One thought if you ever feel like continuing to work on the game, user-selectable ships.

You have Enterprise, how about Enterprise-D or Defiant or Millenium Falcon, X-Wing or TIE Fighter.
