Quite an interesting read. Thanks Curt.

The source code can be downloaded at: https://computerhistory.org/blog/macpaint-and-quickdraw-source-code/

Also found an interesting read on Photoshop:  https://computerhistory.org/blog/adobe-photoshop-source-code/

"The first version of Photoshop was written primarily in Pascal for the Apple Macintosh, with some machine language for the underlying Motorola 68000 microprocessor where execution efficiency was important"

You can also download the source code.

I write ASM code for the 68xxx years for the Amiga assisting a group that was DEV "Go-64" emulator where they needed turbo drive speeds

its an interesting processor, too bad it didn't stick around longer.
