How to draw a point on a map with lazMapViewer

I need help to draw a point in a map of lazMapViewer without an predetermined event no   can you help me?

(But note that parts of the article refer to the new version of the LazMapViewer which has not been released, yet. "Adding a point of interest" is fine, though).
