GTK3 still alpha

The GTK3 widget is still alpha. Will it be further developed or is it better to use QT5 or QT6?

For my text editor I cannot use gtk3 yet.

Those blocking issues are both wayland related and should probably be fixed at the wayland side.
I still use gtk2 (preferred) but Qt5/6 are very usable too.

@Željan Rikalo deserves enormous recognition and thanks for his work.
If you look back, he's made major changes to GTK3 in the last two months and weeks, and it's no longer as "alpha" as it once was.

It's also worth remembering that he himself keeps updating and correcting everything related to QT, QT5, and QT6.

GTK3 is still far from OK. My text editor cannot be used with gtk3 ws.

I cannot thank Zeljko enough for his work in this space !

However, I would not expect Lazarus Trunk to be able to make a usable GTK3 version of my app. I tried it three weeks ago seeing a huge  number of commits and it was a very long way off. ListView in particular but many other issues.  I would love it to be ready now but suspect I'm hoping for too much !

Traveling, terrible network connection, cannot test but will certainly try as soon as I can !

It may not be Alpha (yippee !) but perhaps it should be marked Beta ?

Thanks. So the GTK3 is actively developed. I can't help with developing a widget. I have tested GTK3 trunk and it look much better now.  Still some issues I will report.

Not a real killer, but I'm using lazarus gtk3 for almost all day to debug simple project and coding lazarus fixes, so yes, it is in much better shape than it was few months ago.
