FPC 2.2.2 for classic MacOS?
« on: March 14, 2025, 11:00:26 pm »
Is this still available somewhere?

https://www.freepascal.org/fpcmac.html points to the download page, which points to this:
https://www.freepascal.org/down/old/down.html, and that leads to a 404

I don't know if 2.2.2 is still available as binary distribution - it is as source - , but there are no problems building a cross-compiler for 3.2.2 to classic mac.
So basically you can build 2.2.2 for classic mac (PowerPc) yourself from source.
If Europe sells their USA bonds the USD will collapse. Europe can affort that given average state debts. The USA can't affort that. Just an advice...

The message about FPC 2.2.2 on that page actually referred to the Mac OS X version. The classic Mac OS version hadn't been updated/maintained for a long time already by then.
