Putting aside the timing issue, PascalDragon's main thrust was about testing 3.2.4 and reporting the findings https://wiki.freepascal.org/Testers_3.2.4.

Sadly, only five people have bothered to respond.  I am quite sure a lot more people than that have complained about its delayed release. Come on folks, its open source, needs more contributions.

Not quite true since there may be reports against 3.2.3 in the bug tracker too.
The way of reporting is a bit, well, not quite obvious.
I am running the RC1 occasionally on both Debian (bookworm and trixie) and Windows 10/11 on x86_64 and Arm/AARCH64 and did not encounter anything that I needed to report.

Indeed Thaddy, bug reports are important. But reports of it working as expected are important too. And they belong, in this case, on that wiki page.

Yes, I am also using 3.2.4 on Windows and MacOS to build my 30K lines app. I have not reported that on the wiki page because I have not gone through that formal process PascalDragon listed. But the fact is it works, and works as expected and should, IMHO, also be reported. And I will.

@PascalDragon - The files at https://downloads.freepascal.org/fpc/beta/3.2.4-rc1/ are from 8-12 months ago.

The RC1 exists since June of this year, so I doubt that you're using it for a year.

It doesn't matter from when the files are, it matters from when the announcement was and fpk did that here on June 2025.
