pas2js on RPI5
« on: March 08, 2025, 01:49:03 pm »
Hello, I'm trying to use pas2js for the first time on raspberry pi 5, but when opening the demo program, I get a message that the pas2js compiler does not support target aach64-browser. I've never used pas2js, and lazarus very rarely, so I'd like someone to help me configure everything so that I can use pas2js.

Thank you in advance

Bojan

While a pas2js project should have proper defaults you could manually select ECMAScript5 or ECMAScript6 as “Operating System” in the project's settings.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I have changed CPU to ecmascript5 but now I have next message

The project uses target OS=browser and CPU=ecmascript5.
The system.ppu for this target was not found in the FPC binary directories.
Make sure fpc is installed correctly for this target and the fpc.cfg contains the right directories.

What I should do?

Thanks

Pas2js can not find rtl.js. Make sure your configuration is OK and that the rtl.js is actually built and on tthe correct path.
Due to censorship, I changed this to "Nelly the Elephant". Keeps the message clear.
