IDE Shortcut bug?
« on: February 15, 2025, 09:58:55 am »
I usually work on my Linux computer but today I installed and run Lazarus 3.8 on a Win11 laptop.
The F9 shortcut key for running the project seemed work a bit different than when I work on Linux. On Linux, the shortcut to run always work. But on Win11, it did not when my the active focus was on the source editor. It worked if set the focus outside the source editor, clicking the Object Inspector form for example.
Is it a bug or do I miss something?

Sounds like a bug.

Though, check that "F9" is correctly assigned => Tools > Options > Editor > Keymap

I use Lazarus 3.4, and everything works fine on Windows 11.
