Problem with TTabControl

I have a weird issue of my TTabControls (tried with both with TabPosition := tpBottom and tpTop)

Somehow my TTabControls get their tab area resized to 4 piels in height with the rest of the TTabControl maintain its height (so empty space)

I have tried pinpointing problem, but anyone else here experienced this and/or found a workaround? (I have yet to see if this is Cocoa specific or general)

Can you guys use TTabControls? (Aligned e.g. to top or bottom with other controls above/underneath it aligned similarly)

It is somehow related to alignment.

I have not been able to solve the issue for my usage.

I did create a test where I used different alignments and tabpositions.

Some of them hides their tabs.

Should be simple to runtime configure the tabcontrols then you ask? It seems problem run deeper with nested controls/alignment, so simply e.g. changing height etc. is not sufficient. I am considering using a different control maybe.
