It is not worrying at all.
A new release is done when it is done. The fixes branch is such that you can assume this will be 3.2.4. so use that (fpcupdeluxe can build that for you if you can't build from source yourself)
Release management takes time.
Note that I am a little bit worried that people may expect many new features and that is not the case in a point release.
That will only be the case once trunk becomes a RC for fpc - probably - 4.0. which contains very many new goodies.
Then again, I build trunk/main almost daily and certainly weekly, depending on what I see in the commits.
Then again some more, only advanced users and the really stupid beginner ones use trunk.
