Double Fractal with 3D Prototype (Written in Lazarus)

Double Fractal with 3D Prototype

Double Fractal to be ported from Delphi to Lazarus and uses GLscene.
Creates complex fractal images. Includes 3D prototypes
Can be run on Windows, Linux and MAC OS X.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/doublefractal/

There are compiled versions as well as the Lazarus source.
Seems there are 2 sources: 1 is 32 Mb and other one is trunk 470 kB

And it is FREE.

Might be nice to play around with the source and experiment with the graphics.

Did a test compile of the 470 Kb version. It compiled OK on my Laz 2.2.4 Win 10.
The compiled version says it's version 3
Saved picture file seems to be only bmp (so I converted it, shown as attached png reduced in size)
Fractal also exports to PovRay

Did some more playing around and got almost a prickly Biomorph.
The zooming on Double Fractal works, but the selection coordinates are a bit off and getting out of selection mode is a bit hard to do.
