Does lazarus have support for shell gui?
« on: January 06, 2025, 07:06:31 pm »
I was wondering if lazarus has support for this kind of graphics. Does it work on freedos and other shell operating systems. Also if there is one then does it support canvas like templeos has.

If you mean the textual form, that is freevision.

If you mean the dwl clx stuff for graphical windows, there is nothing ready to run. Conceptually it should be possible to port the Delphi stuff, but it is quite some work.  Also I don't know how well the wdosx stuff works, and if recent FPC/lazarus Windows Vista+ support doesn't frustrate that. (should be able to workaround)
