Now that I finally had the chance to do something in Lazarus again, these sessions often lasted late into the night. When everything around me was already dark, when I looked at other applications with native dark mode, I realized how much this switch to the light IDE of Lazarus was affecting me - in the negative way. At some point, I was ready to make the switch - something I had always avoided due to the effort involved.
Since others may have been discouraged by the hassle, I have simply added my color definition to this post. The basis for the conversion was the 'Metadarkstyle' package, for which I would have wished for more settings options in the IDE, apart from the settings file.
I have attached a screenshot and the XML for the color definitions (Object Pascal).
As font I use 'Consolas, 11 pt'.

PS. If there is already a thread with color collections that I have missed, I would appreciate it if one of the moderators could move my post.
PPS. I like it the way it is. It's my personal preference to have “begin” on the same line and not as a separate line like most of you guys prefer.
