My settings for dark mode (IDE)

Now that I finally had the chance to do something in Lazarus again, these sessions often lasted late into the night. When everything around me was already dark, when I looked at other applications with native dark mode, I realized how much this switch to the light IDE of Lazarus was affecting me - in the negative way. At some point, I was ready to make the switch - something I had always avoided due to the effort involved.
Since others may have been discouraged by the hassle, I have simply added my color definition to this post. The basis for the conversion was the 'Metadarkstyle' package, for which I would have wished for more settings options in the IDE, apart from the settings file.

I have attached a screenshot and the XML for the color definitions (Object Pascal).
As font I use 'Consolas, 11 pt'.

PS. If there is already a thread with color collections that I have missed, I would appreciate it if one of the moderators could move my post.
PPS. I like it the way it is. It's my personal preference to have “begin” on the same line and not as a separate line like most of you guys prefer.

You can colorize not only editor, but also IDE. I tried to make a small customization of the colors. Look to https://github.com/zamtmn/metadarkstyle/blob/main/examples/customthemes/test2.darkstylecolors edit the desired colors and put this file to %lazcfg%/userchemes After restarting IDE this theme will be available, but unfortunately you cannot switch themes on the fly.

This is a theme description script, it doesn't need to be compiled, the *.darkstylecolors files are checked in %lazcfg%/userchemes at IDE startup and this themes are available in the package settings

Thanks for your suggestion. I darkend the IDE by installing the 'Metadarkstyle' package. I have seen these settings as well and that was what I was referring to with my comment that I would have liked a bit more setting options in the IDE on this topic.
Customizing the IDE via this file and then restarting the it every time to see the results is too much work for me to customize that as well.
